These are the terms for using lemonlime. There is nothing to buy and no account to open, so most of what follows is about the games themselves and the leaderboards.
Every game here is free to play in your browser, for as long as you like, without an account. You do not need permission to play, to link to a game, to share a score, or to send someone a challenge link.
You may not scrape the site to republish the games or these pages elsewhere, embed a game in a frame on another site so it appears to be that site's, or run automated traffic against the leaderboard server. Those are the only restrictions, and they exist because the games are made here rather than licensed in.
The games, their code, their art and sound, and the writing on these pages are made by lemonlime and remain its property. The site is not a games portal: nothing here is syndicated from a third-party network, so there is no other rights-holder in the chain.
Streaming, recording, or writing about any game on the site is welcome and needs no permission — including monetised video. Attribution and a link back are appreciated rather than required.
Several games take their setting from public-domain works, and a handful of open-source libraries do the rendering and audio. Those retain their own licences; the game code around them does not.
Submitting a score is optional and every game is fully playable without it. When you do submit, you choose a short display name that is stored with the score and shown publicly on that game's board.
Do not put anything in a display name you would not want published: another person's name or contact details, abuse, or anything you would not say to a room. Entries that break that, and scores obtained by modifying the game or posting to the score endpoint directly, are removed without notice.
A leaderboard entry can be taken down on request — the contact page has the address, and the privacy page explains what is stored.
The site is provided as it is. Games are added, changed and occasionally rebalanced without notice, and a change can reset what a high score is worth. Nothing here is offered with a warranty, and the site is not liable for lost progress, lost scores, or lost time.
Progress and personal bests live in your own browser's local storage. Clearing site data, switching browser, or using private browsing will lose them, and they cannot be recovered afterwards — there is no account holding a copy.
Leaderboard history may be reset if a scoring bug is found or a game is rebalanced enough that old and new scores are no longer comparable.
The site is general-audience, has no accounts, and asks for no personal details. Some games are horror games and are labelled as such on their pages and in their collections; a parent deciding what is suitable will find the tone described accurately in each game's description rather than softened.
These terms change when the site does. The date below is the last time the text was actually revised, not the last time the site was deployed.
