An arcade racer that runs from open county backroads into the heart of a small town and back. Pick from a roster of cars — each trading off top speed, acceleration, handling and nitrous — then light up the straights with nitrous, throw the tail out through the corners, and trade paint with a full grid of rivals. Finish on the podium to unlock Ridgeback Pass, a longer, narrower, tougher second circuit. Built for short sessions in the browser, desktop or mobile.
Choose a track, then a car. You start on Rocky Pass; finish in the top 3 to unlock Ridgeback Pass, a longer and more difficult circuit. Each track keeps its own global best-time leaderboard.
Pick your car first. Each one trades off top speed, acceleration, handling and nitrous — from the nimble County Kart to the heavy Backroad Bruiser and the NOS-loaded Nitro Hauler — so choose the one that fits the track and your style.
Stay on the asphalt — the grass off the shoulder kills your speed.
Save nitrous for the long country straights, then feather it again on the way out of town.
Tap the handbrake mid-corner to drift the tight town turns instead of scrubbing all your speed.
Watch for slow town traffic — clipping it costs you the race.
County Line is a free browser-based arcade racer that runs from open county backroads into a small town and back. You drift through corners, burn nitrous on the straights, and trade paint with a full grid of rivals over three laps, dodging town traffic along the way.

Yes. Before each race you pick from a roster of cars, each with trade-off stats — top speed, acceleration, handling and nitrous. No car is strictly best: the nimble County Kart rockets off corners, the Backroad Bruiser has a huge top end, the Nitro Hauler carries the biggest boost, and the Drift Special is built to slide. The global leaderboard shows which car each time was set with.
County Line starts on Rocky Pass. Finish a race on the podium (top 3) to unlock Ridgeback Pass — a longer, narrower, more difficult circuit with taller climbs and tighter corners. Each track has its own global best-time leaderboard.
On phones the joystick steers left/right only, with dedicated GAS and BRAKE/reverse buttons plus NOS and DRIFT. NOS and DRIFT both keep the throttle on, so you can boost or slide with one thumb while steering with the other.
Hold the handbrake (Space on desktop, the DRIFT button on mobile) through a corner while steering. A clean drift carries more exit speed than braking to a crawl, and the Drift Special car makes it easiest.
